Import Licensing Notification Portal
The Import Licensing Notification Portal is an online platform that can be used by Members to submit their notifications to comply with the obligations in the Agreement on Import Licensing Procedures. The Import Licensing Notification Portal is meant to assist Members and the Secretariat in the following ways:
- to streamline the notification process by (i) allowing various agencies to access the portal and provide inputs into draft notifications; (ii) consolidating the information in one place; and (iii) giving permission to one agency to submit these notifications to the Secretariat;
- to facilitate the collection and, eventually, automatic dissemination of information from the notifications into the import licensing database; and
- to facilitate and improve the search of import licensing procedures in the import licensing database.
